Invalid Pix: what to check
Learn what to review when a Pix code is rejected and how to avoid an incorrect retry.

The conditions shown in your account take precedence. Check your cashier and official channels for methods, limits and processing times.
Check the code
If using Pix Copy and Paste, copy the complete code provided in the cashier. Do not add or remove characters. Check whether your bank recognises the code before continuing.
Check its validity
Read the payment instructions and check for an expiry time. An old code may no longer be available. Create a new request only according to cashier instructions and check the history before paying.
If the error continues
Record the exact message and the step where it appears. Contact official support without sharing bank passwords or authentication codes.
